Certifications – Standards and Services for dedicated Markets
Electronic devices and systems define and guarantee the functioning of modern industrial societies in big measure. The deeper they penetrate into our everyday life, the stronger are the demands for their reliable, secure and safe operation. According to operational area and purpose there are to meet different norms, standards and sets of rules which should guarantee reliable, secure, safe and long-lasting functioning.
To meet these demands and very often market specific requirements, we support our customers in all project phases to fulfill the related editions or norms and to receive the certifications necessary for it.
This encloses norms and guidelines for example in the areas of:
- Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive, CE conformity, overvoltage protection
- Shock, vibration
- Extended temperature requirements for market segments like automotive, industrial, construction machinery, medical, transportation, railway, avionics or defense
- Functional safety, e.g. SIL, DO
- Environmental conditions, e.g. salt water, dust, chemical aggressive media
Amongst others, we have realized projects to meet IEC61508, DO-160, or EN50155 norms. MicroSys is ISO 9001:2015 certified.
Product lifecycle management – Longevity of supply
Typical product life spans in our embedded environment are 10 years and more. By the selection of suitable electronic components, the appropriate design, developing procedures and manufacturing methods as well as suppliers, we meet or exceed these market requirements.
