Flexible automotive algorithm testing

MicroSys’ MPX-S32G module-based custom system enables system engineers to test new algorithms in vehicles without detailed hardware knowledge. Based on our customer’s software solution, users can develop algorithms using Matlab, connect via standard interfaces such as T1-Ethernet, CAN and LIN, and utilize M.2 slots for additional connectivity, streamlining the evaluation process in automotive control systems.

MicroSys has been providing comprehensive support for EasyMiles’ safety certification requirements and has integrated an NXP S32 vehicle network processor-based System-on-Module into an Electronic Control Unit (ECU) upon EasyMile’s specifications. MicroSys also ensures the series production of the ECU.

Our customer EasyMile uses a safety-critical solution based on miriac® System-on-Modules with NXP vehicle network processors for its driverless yard tractors. They are used to autonomously transport containers in ports to improve throughput, reduce congestion and minimize delays. The hardware, which performs safety-critical functions, is at the heart of the safety of the entire system.

Our customer EasyMile‘s EZTow is the most widely used autonomous tow tractor in the world. It operates in production flows at a number of major automotive manufacturing plants and logistics centers in Europe and the United States. It is also used at airports for towing luggage. The NXP Vehicle Network Processor-based hardware developed by MicroSys is at the heart of the security of the entire system.
