One of our customers has been using generations of our miriac® Computer-on-Modules in SIL4 certified safety critical systems for many years. Working as 2 out of 3 systems, they form the vital core for safety in various railway applications. They are used, for example, in level crossing controllers, European Train Control System (ETCS) Level 2 Radio Block Centres (RBC), safe gateways for interlocking RBC interfaces or Specific Transmission Module (STM) / Specific National Module for ETCS on-board systems. Their powerful engines provide a highly efficient means of internal and external communication.
